Children with CVI, Cortical Vision Impairment, have a strong need for color to “anchor” their vision to a target.

This large wooden abacus with one-inch (2.5 cm) beads measures 23″ x 24″ (58 cm x 60 cm). Wooden red and yellow beads are grouped in 5s and 10s to encourage quantity recognition and visualization. Ideal for a class or for a child with special needs. Place it on the floor or on an easel. You can work with addition and multiplication using trading and quantity recognition. An instructional booklet is included.
