This large abacus with one-inch (2.5 cm) beads measures 23″ x 24″ (58 cm x 60 cm). Ideal for a class or for a child with special needs. Place it on the floor or on an easel. You can work with addition and multiplication using trading and quantity recognition.
Children with CVI have a strong need for color to ‘anchor’ their vision to a target. This abacus is similar to the Cotter Abacus Standard; frame is made of durable plastic and wooden beads are grouped with 5 red and 5 yellow beads to support the child with Cortical Visual Impairment.
